Comano RSI (Swiss Radio and Television, broadcasting in Italian)

Competition in two stages for the renovation and extension of the “LG” building.
The aim of the competition was to achieve an urban concept for a long-term site for a “media campus”, integrating in the short term the necessary space for the realisation of the “convergence” concept, arising from the need to unify radio and television production and programme sectors in a single functional entity at Comano. Following this, it will be necessary to create new areas to allow the transfer of activities from the premises of the radio in Besso (Lugano) and make up the current deficit of activity at Comano.
