The three blocks, situated in an area that is rapidly being transformed from agricultural to residential, stand at the edge of Quartino village, near the mouth of the River Ticino.
The idea behind the design was that the buildings should bring some order to the new development. Situated parallel to the wide valley floor of the Magadino Plain and facing the lake, the blocks mark the western boundary of the village.
Each block contains ten apartments varying in size and type: the ground floor flats are on one level and have a small private garden while those on the first floor are duplex and have access to a private space on the roof terrace.
